So what’s the purpose of this site?#

Put simply, anything and everything, this will be a place for me to publish news, articles, and links to things I find interesting that don’t quite fit into my day job which is running a small focused prototyping company based in Northern Ireland Protoworks (NI)

This particular website will be less constrained and freeform and will act as a simple blog for documenting my various interests which currently span the following subjects: -

  • Software Development
  • Electronics
  • 3d Printing
  • Radio Amateur
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Anything Geeky

For the moment, I don’t foresee the website being focused on any one particular subject unless something captures my imagination. If you use the hashtags above, you’ll be able to find other articles related to that same subject.

I’m just going to run with it for a while and see if it takes hold or proves to be useful!

What’s with the name?#

Well, my name is John, and I’m a developer, so JKTDEV.CO.UK seemed like a good name for the website.

What’s with the theme?#

My main aim is to provide information and insights into my various interests and projects in as clear a form as I can manage. I’m not a professional writer, but I’ll do my best to make it readable and understandable.
